rescue-iFil receives "most innovative product concept in the healthcare sector" accolade.

The rescue-iFil, Küfner's first aid assistant, receives the "senetics Innovation-Award 2014".

The rescue-iFil developed by Küfner measures the respiratory flow created during the cardiac massage and issues an appropriate, easily recognized signal to the first aider.

The rescue-iFil, Küfner's first aid assistant, has received the Innovation-Award 2014 at the senetics Medical Technology Convention. As part of the Medical Technology Convention on 27 March in Erlangen, organized by senetics healthcare group GmbH & Co. KG and supported by the Network for Innovative Suppliers in Medical Technology (NeZuMed), the rescue-iFil first aid assistant developed by Karl Küfner GmbH & Co. KG received the Innovation-Award 2014 as the "most innovative product concept in the health care sector". With its newly developed, patient-centered measurement of air flow using an MEMS air flow sensor, the rescue-iFil held its own against 250 competitors in three award categories. Rolf Bronner, Head of Medical Technology at Küfner, was delighted with the award: "We've invested a lot in the development of the rescue-iFil over recent months. Receiving the award for the most innovative product concept tells us that we are on the right track." Meanwhile, Küfner is already working on the development and launch of the rescue-iFil so that it can transform its award-winning idea into a successful product.
